We delivered this cute little 7′ C.L. Bailey cinnamon “Elayna”  to a nice family in Long Beach, CA. A great value at $1799. We have this pool table available in an 8′ size too. This family chose Electric Blue felt with a cinnamon stain. We also have Traditional Mahogany and Warm Chestnut stains.

To help Angels Baseball Celebrate Fan Appreciation Day, DK Billiard Service and Showroom is providing a pool table as a prize. That’s right a slate pool table will be given away to one lucky fan in attendance on Sunday, September 26 when the Angels host the Chicago White Sox. We’ll be delivering and setting up the prize pool table adjacent to the Diamond Club on Monday, September 6 where it will be on display for Angel’s Fans to see!

The lucky winner of the pool table prize will also be receiving local ground floor delivery, (50 miles from The Big A) set-up/leveling and a deluxe accessory kit.

Don’t forget, even if you don’t have space in your home for a pool table, there might be another spot. In this case it was a parking spot in the garage that turned into a gameroom. We delivered and set-up this used 8′ oak pool table to a nice family in Orange, CA. Mom and Dad were willing to park outside, in order to gain a gameroom for their son and his friends. The parents told us that they felt more comfortable knowing where their son was spending time with his friends.

You may remember a post we did about a beautiful Monticello pool table by Presidential Billiards. The family had just moved from Texas to Coto de Caza, CA and the company that came in and did the poorest job we’ve seen in a while. This hall of shame setup was finally fixed and the pool table is now level, aligned properly and has beautiful new cloth. The way it should have been from the start.

This delivery was up a steep, narrow staircase with a sharp turn at the top. But we got it up, and it looks great!

It’s nice to show off your pool table, but even a short period of sunlight exposure can do a number on your cloth, cushions and pockets. This table (actually belonging to my parents) was exposed to sunlight for a few months before we decided to get them a cover. The table was properly covered and not in direct sunlight under the covered patio, but you can see the wine colored cloth faded quickly. We put new marine blue cloth on and it looks great. We had a blast playing on it for the the 4th and after we were done, we put their fitted cover on.

And, it is okay to put a pool table outside. Obviously, this isn’t a fancy carved leg table, but when your are short on space, you can make it work. Just remember that heavy duty fitted cover.

A few months back a nice gentleman named Ben purchased some cloth from us. He explained that he had a cabin in the mountains of Wrightwood, CA and wanted to refelt his own table. He picked up his special ordered orange rail cloth and he went his way. Today, Ben walked through the door with a handful of photos. Not only had he refelted his old Valley coin-operated pool table, but he painted and modified it to be something incredible. Hand painted flames on the slick black body look awesome. The metal corners were ground down, buffed with a special technique and then glossed with a candy tangerine. He drilled out the sites and replaced them with Budweiser and Bud Lite bottle caps. A Harley Davidson decal seals the deal. The diamond plated legs are still a work in progress. I was blown away at the incredible imagination and ingenuity of the custom cue holder (it’s that metal oval looking thing). Ben has promised to bring us some pictures of his custom candied triangle if we can get some more orange felt for his buddy. We’ll keep you updated!
