Here is a recent pool table we serviced for our clients in Glendora, CA. The couple bought this nine-foot CL Bailey Forsyth from our pool table store about three years ago. The two are now leaving California headed for Idaho and have a great spot already picked out for the pool table. Our job was to disassemble their pool table and crate the three pieces of slate to protect them while being handled by their moving company. When we removed the billiard cloth from the pool table I mentioned to my client that it looked like the cloth could be used for a second time. She was glad to hear that, as she really like the color that she and her husband had picked out.

Can anyone give me some idea of the cost to move a pool table (single slate, i believe), from Savannah, GA to Rochester, NY? It is on the first floor in GA but would need to put in a basement in Rochester. I don’t need an exact quote but a range of costs. thanks. Would it be cheaper to just buy a new one local?
Thanks for your question Todd. Yes it would absolutely be more cost effective to buy a pool table in Rochester. I’m not sure how far the distances are between GA and NY but I’d say it would run around $2000 for the transportation plus another $600-700 to disassemble the pool table in GA and reassemble it in NY. Keep your eyes peeled for a nice used Connelly, Golden West, Beach Mfg., World of Leisure or Olhausen pool table. Happy hunting!
