Long Beach Boys and Girls Club Pool Table Donation
A nice family in Long Beach, California had gotten about 15 wonderful years of play out of their Olhausen pool table. However, they found they weren’t using it as much and made the decision to donate it to their local Boys and Girls Club. We moved the pool table from their home and into the club’s teen center. We refelted the billiard table with new Euro Blue cloth for the members to enjoy.
If you are not using your pool table, consider a (tax-deductible) donation to your local teen center. Billiards is a fun way for young adults to practice geometry while having fun with their friends.
I am in the process of relocating out of state and am not bringing my 10 yr old pool table with me. If you have an idea of where or whom I might consider donating it, it would be most appreciated. My table is 10 years old, it is 3 piece slate, located upstairs, thus would need to be disassembled to move, leather pockets, carved oak legs, etc, would include cues, bridge, cue rack. Table length is 8 foot 3 inches, 4 foot, 6 inches width. Thanks in advance!
Steve, kassygirl2142@gmail.com says she’s looking for a someone to donate a pool table for her church. I’m not sure of where her church is located but maybe the stars will align and make this transaction work for the both of you.
Good luck, David
