This is a great hidden gem in Orange on Chapman Ave. We decided to finally get rid of the formal 'dining' room that sat empty and make it a game room. We had an awesome experience with David and his assistant removing our pool table and transferring to my friends’ house. The crew over at Dk Billiards have been servicing, recovering or moving my billiard table for the past 15 years. They just left my house today after a new felt job, they cleaned up the balls and fixed a couple pool cues.They never do anything less than a perfect job. This review is long over due. I contacted DK Billiard Service and spoke with Dave about 4 years ago. I had purchased a beautiful pool table from an estate sale and needed it moved. Dave and his crew disassemble and transported the table to my home and assembled it on my second floor. Dave’s service ensured the table was level and because the felt needed to be replaced they did that for a reasonable price. Fast forward to last week we decided we no longer needed the pool table and had our contractor start remodeling our home. I called Dave and I was pleasantly surprised when he remembered me as a client. Dave gave me a reasonable price to move the table to my Aunts in about two weeks. I let Dave know we’re remodeling our home and asked if there was a cancellation we would appreciate it sooner. Dave responded immediately and said we would squeeze us to move the table in two days. Talk about customer service! Dave showed up promptly Saturday afternoon and was incredibly kind in dealing with the noise and dust all around him. Dave let me know the leather on the pool table pockets were pretty dry and warned me they might crack when he disassembled the table. Dave gave me reasonable price to replace them and I gave him the ok. He also said there were a couple of white marks on the black felt which I said were fine. After Dave delivered the table to my aunt and uncles home, Dave sent me a text with a picture of my uncle enjoying the table. Dave stated that he was able to flip the felt and it looked brand new. Dave was a gem in helping at the last minute and his customer service is top notch. If anyone needs anything pool table related you won’t be disappointed contacting Dave.

Poor service: showed up 1hr late, helper went to get there tire on there van fixed. Helper did nothing, my worker had to help Dave install slate, Dave only installed slate and cloth and said he was finished. So I had to finish putting pooltable together and Dave charged me full price. David is an old-school example of customer service: honest, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile. He could have talked me into more since I had told him the old felt was no good, but he made a house call to inspect the table, and was able to use the other side of the felt while putting my pool table back together after moving, saving me money. The service was very reasonably priced (he was here for hours--i didn't realize how labor intensive re-constructing the table was), and he re-tipped my cues as well. This is the place to go for pool table services.

Dave is just the best. That's all there is to it. When he came out to move our office table, I described my table at home. I couldn't remember the name but when I told him my rails were hard as rock, he knew exactly who the manufacturer was. They used subpar rubber that only lasted for 5-7 years. I asked him to come out to fix the rubber and put on new cloth (and while looking at the table, I asked for new pockets as well). Not only did he take the rails with him, he took a few cues for service, measured the area in the room and recommended moving the table six inches in one direction and four in another (which doesn't sound like much but it makes shooting much easier now). After he finished the rails, he came out and moved the table, re-sealed the slate, re-leveled, added the cloth, rail and pockets and had me test it out. It was like shooting on a brand new table. Dave is AWESOME and I would recommend him to any and all.

In 2010 David moved a table from my parents house to ours. Table is a 3 piece slate Golden West Table. I also had it recovered and bumpers replaced. Move and refurbish was perfect. Bought some extra cues, new triangle & accessories plus a high end cue for my wife. We played on it last night like we always do and I thought to myself this table is as good a table as it was in 1976 when my Dad bought it for our family. Besides our family taking incredible care of it for over 40 years, the quality restoration that was done in 2010 has made all the difference 7 years later! If you are looking for professional quality craftsmanship in the moving and restoration of your table because you really care about it, this is the family business to use. Clearly the review score is obvious testament.

David was an amazing help at an affordable price. I had to move a pool table from LA county to Orange County and he did just that. His knowledge of pool tables is well displayed by him and his crews ability to swiftly and safely dismantle and move the table. He also noted my bumpers needed replacing after the rubber had hardened over the years and showed me just how bad it was compared to a new bumpers. He gave me a reasonable price for replacing those as well.All in all great experience and will contact him again for any future pool table needs.(He also saw I had mismatched colors for felt and chalk and gave me a set to match for free!)

I had a horrible experience with TriBilliards ( do not go there! ) And had limited time to get my pool table done before a party in 3 days. His wife was so sincere to my troubles and promised she would do everything she could to help get it done for me.Dave Got back to me in minutes and explained that it takes more time then we had to do things the way they should be done, which he said is the way he operates his business, he will not do a sub par job just to get it done. I pulled the rails, prepped the, and brought them to him the next day.
