Improperly moving a slate pool table can damage the rails, aprons, frame, slates, legs and/or can cause great personal injury.
Aging tables require maintenance and replacement. Parts such as felt, rubber, and leather pockets need repair to keep your table playing its best.
Pool Table Relocating and Repair Services
No lie, pool tables are extremely heavy. Improperly moving a slate pool table can damage the rails, aprons, frame, slates, legs and/or can cause great personal injury. I am a licensed and insured billiard mechanic with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the billiard service industry.
Moves are typically two parts, starting with complete disassembly. All parts are then safely transported to the new location. Once we have established the ideal position for your pool table, we professionally level the frame and slate(s), re-stretch the existing felt*, and re-align the rails to make sure your pool table plays even better than before.
*new felt isn’t always required when moving but can save you money when combining this type of pool table repair
Replace your worn-out, torn, faded billiard cloth, or just pick a new color to give your older pool table a fresh, new look. We use only top-quality wool/nylon billiard cloth properly installed for optimal play and wear.

We can re-glue or repair cushion rubber that has been detached from rail due to misuse, or replace dead cushion rubber that has deteriorated due to age or inferior quality. Our standard cushions are blended pure gum rubber and are K-66 profile, we also offer K-55 profile cushions for tables with different specs. For our pool shark customers, pocket shimming is available upon request in increments of 0.125 inches.
Most recushion jobs are done in conjunction with a refelt, move or set-up. If your felt has been recently replaced or is still in good shape please let me know as I may be able to save your rail felt.
Have a pool table that was previously disassembled and want to get set-up again? We can set up your pool table, uncrate the slates if necessary, and get it playing it’s best! DK always uses a Starrett machinist’s level and custom shims to get the most accurate and level playing surface.

We can also disassemble your pool table and carefully remove the felt so it can be re-stretched later. We’ll leave all pieces to the pool table in the same room where it was located or we can move them to another room for you. We also provide slate crating service to protect your slate during a long distance move or when using a third party moving company to move your pool table.
Aging leather pockets can dry out causing the straps to snap. No one likes balls on the floor, so let me get you setup with new baskets to keep those balls contained.
