My crew and I were on-site in San Clemente, CA to break down this Pro. eight foot three piece slate pool table. This late 1980s Murrey and Sons pool table was upstairs in a bonus room that was going to be re-carpeted the next day. It’s nice to see good old American craftsmanship in this solid mahogany pool table. The only things that had worn out were the leather pockets and the felt, not bad after 20+ years.
We’ll return after the new carpeting is installed and the electrician has wired and hung the billiard lamp. Our client wants to replace the old felt with Burgundy Velocity Pro worsted wool billiard cloth. We’ll also be replacing the brittle, faded leather pool table pockets.
