Here’s a look at an antique Brunswick billiard table we recently disassembled for our client in Long Beach, CA. This model is called the Wellington and was manufactured from 1908to 1909 by the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. Back in those days, this 46″ by 92″ billiard table was the smallest size eight-foot table that Brunswick made. This size was probably sold as a home recreation model. The most common size of that time period would have been a nine-footer (50″ by 100″) and was the standard for billiard halls. We will be moving this table to our client’s new home, and although the green billiard cloth was removed with care and could have been re-stretched, my client decided to have us re-cloth the table with camel cloth.

How much did this sevice cost the client and how much do you believe this pool table is worth now. I have a very similar table that needs this done.
It’s all subject to what the market will bear. Obviously if the billiard table is in pristine condition both cosmetically and functionally, it would fetch the most money. We charged the client, including the moving costs about $800. Best of luck to you. Dave

I am in the process of purchasing the house and the seller has a Brunswick table approximately 100 years old that he wants to leave with the house. How can I determine what model it is and ultimately its value? Any help you can lend would be very much appreciated.

Hello, I am no sure I have a Brunswick table, though I have never seen the nameplate even when I was a child. The table is over 50 years old and in medium shape. If I send a picture, can you identify it?
