These photos are a short lesson on how NOT to level your pool table. We came across these shims that a previous pool table installer had glued to the floor. We are flabbergasted that any pool table installer could do something that would potentially damage a customer’s floor. This customer lucked out in the biggest way. We were called out to do a new flooring move. These floors will be getting replaced.
DK Billiards uses special rubber shims when leveling a pool table on hardwood or other hard surface floors. These shims were custom engineered for us so that we could protect our customer’s hard surface floors and prevent slippage that causes a pool table to become unleveled.
