From Virginia to Rossmoor; This Vitalie Gets Around

Like a pool table mechanic I service all makes, models, and sizes of slate tables. This particular job was from a nationwide third-party service provider. We handle all of their Southern California pool table uncrate and setups. The client had just relocated from Virginia to Rossmoor, CA and of course, he brought his prized Peter Vitalie Pro. eight-foot billiard table across the country with him. Unfortunately, his old Burgundy felt had seen better days. It was time to refelt the pool table with some new worsted wool cloth. My client decided on the color Golden/Mustard. Unfortunately for me, I forgot that this table was pro. 8′ and cut cloth for a standard eight-footer. When I lay the cloth across the slate I soon realized I was six inches too short. I returned a few days later with the right size cloth to finish up this pool table installation.
